Just checked Sentosa website and except for the beach, most attractions require you to pay a mean sum of admission fee. Mean sum because to me, it's totally not worth it.
Everything is about money.
And the saying "money can't buy happiness" doesn't seem to gel with the increasing inflation rate. It's a saying meant for the rich I think.
Because with money, what's another BMW, LV or Cartier? You name it, they probably have it.
Where's the excitement & happiness when they don't even have to bat an eyelid as the sales assistant swipe their credit cards? To them, luxury goods (to us) are just necessities to them.
I remember when I bought my Miu Miu, I was happy for weeks.
See, money can buy happiness. For the non richie-rich that is.
I'm sure if I'm rich, it will just be another bag sitting with the rest of my collection in that carpeted bag corner in my bigger-than-your-living-room bedroom.
I'm sure if I'm rich, each day I will have to spend more time choosing a bag to accessorise my outfit or even my car.
Well, keyword is IF...
And I wouldn't know if the equation, money=happiness is really true because I'm never quite at the other side. The rich side. Never close and I wonder if I will ever be.
Things always seem better at the other side don't they?
But one thing is certain. If I'm rich, I'll definitely be happier. Wouldn't we all be?
As much as I can't prove the other equation, at least I know there's one that always stands.
Contentment=Happiness.
