Bangkok will not turn into a second Indonesia. A used to be tourist spot turned into a place to stay away from as far as possible. I miss the shopping there and I want to go back soon . Although soon won't materialise till a year later or so. Because every dollar counts... It sux at times, given my spendthrift nature. But what my mum said about saving more and spending less is true. Too bad she told me a little too late, a little, well, too little. Better late than never - something for the optimist. I also hope I can be more directional savvy. One quarter tank. Airport to home. Home to Sengkang then Hougang. Hougang to Sengkang. Sengkang to Toa Payoh. Toa Payoh to Vivo. Vivo to home. Home to Bukit Timah. Out of these 8 routes, my brother was my navigator for 6. After all these years, I'm still 'good'. Hey, but I only drive once a year what! And till you get a license, this's the least you can do. And tomorrow, I'm going to venture to Sentosa! HOPE everything...

Tighter... Budget that is. More... Workload that is. Happier... Dealing all these. With you.

The "templated" email replies I get from hotels. One goes, at XXX, price is not our main concern...then WTF, why are you still charging me??? Another pratically ignored my enquiry and gave me one of those "templated" reply. Like hello, did you even read my email? But what to do, I'm not the one who can afford Shangri-La or Ritz Carlton. I need to book the hotel soon. Still continuing with the search...

"After this event, we will all take a day off." my boss said. But, it's been a week or so and we are now rushing for another event. And then it's full day meeting tomorrow and Thursday and a so-called company seafood dinner on Thursday. When's the day off? Where's our break? Looks like it's another round of waiting but no idling... Am also waiting for the day I decide to kickstart my dieting regime. We'll see. The only one thing I want now is for the two kids to be healthy again. It's too painful to watch but I believe they will be fine really soon.

My KL trip Hilton KL is fantastic! Except the pillows... all five of them but none comfortable. I don't know about you but I'm not a fan of soft pillows. The event wasn't too bad although turn up rate was 20 to 30% lower due to the heavy rain. We shopped (as requested by my boss surprisingly), we ate quite a lot (requested by my boss too. actually we were all hungry most of the time) and of course, worked. My favourite place of the room although I don't like bathtub shower. Managed to catch the exciting part of the match - Liverpool's first loss. Bought a dress for the event. I could have brought my own but I gave myself quite a valid reason to shop :) Carcosa. My Family Not good. I hope the kids will get well really soon. I hope the selfish jerk will end the nightmare soon. Marriage is really a gamble. You won't know what you're getting into till you're in it.
