Happy 52nd birthday my dearest ah bu aka mummy!
I love this family shot.
When: One of the Fridays in May
Where: From City Hall (WALK) to Esplanade (WALK) to Helix and (WALK) back
Wear: Heels - big mistake!
Wow: It's nice to have a 'date' once in a while. Helix, to me is not that fantastic - it's just a lighted bridge - but it was fun trying to get some shots with the car top down. Too bad they turned out blur.
What: Farewell dinner for HS + birthdays celebration for the June babies (courtesy of JH)
When: 15 May, Saturday
Where: City hall
Wear: new outfit from a Far East shop - love the bows on the blouse.
Wear: new outfit from a Far East shop - love the bows on the blouse.
Wow: The company & a piece of good news :)
What: Car shoot
When: One of the Saturdays in May
Where: Supposedly Sentosa
Wear: fortunately I didn't wear my bikini - check out the pic on the right - it was pouring!
Wow: more like a boo. Looks like we're jinxed whenever we plan for an outdoor activity.
What: A needed pedicure because of the open-toes heels that I would wear for a wedding.
When: Vesak Day
Where: Jurong Point
Wear: 2 new tops from Cotton On (the kiddo asked why I was wearing 2 tees. Must be thinking I'm mad) & tights from Dorothy Perkins - think comfy - just for Vesak Day.
Wow: $4 express manicure & $12 express pedicure - so happy there's cheap express mani around the corner! It helps that the manicurist didn't do a sloopy job just because it's express service. The boo will be the ruined finger. Ironically, it was the middle finger.

What: Ray's cousin's wedding.
When: 29 May, Saturday
Where: Marriott
Wear: A S$40+ dress I bought at Kota Kinabalu airport. I've kept it for more than a year! No comments about the rest's outfits...
Wow: Me. Just kidding, the couple of course. And the car we sat in. The boo would be me & my fever and that the food was quite disappointing.
All things random...
My new specs from Orchard Central. Damage done: only $125 each - cheap isn't it?
Which do you prefer?
Most people say the one on the right and personally, I like the left a little bit more.
Yes, I seldom wear specs (when I'm out). Only because my flat nose can't hold it and it's uncomfortable and definitely not a pretty sight. Actually when your nose is flat, it's never pretty. Oh well.
And then the other day, I was thinking about how I survived in the past without makeup. I mean for girls who are not born pretty (point to self), we ought to be thankful to the people who invented make up! If I've learnt earlier, would my tertiary life be more interesting? haha...
Anyway, this is how I look, erm... naturally....
(I actually don't think it's that bad, ha)
Sigh.. I can no longer survive without eyeliner and you know what's the 'best' thing? Anna Sui's out of stock till July! I swear I was panicking when the salesgirl told me that. I've since found a cheaper alternative (want to be 'pretty' yet a cheapskate) and it seems to be just as good. Phew, saviour to my one-big-one-small eyes and my pocket.
It's like no matter how hard I try, I'm never number 1.
I'm willing to settle for less since I'm taught to never be the best - wow it rhymes :)
- The End -
