Tired already

Even before the 13hours flight, the likely jetlag and the expected amount of walking. Because I've been clocking in less than 6hrs of sleep most days. Hopefully these are enough to make me sleep in the plane tonight. I just returned from KL and am heading back to the airport tonight. Yea, sounds like a frequent traveller but I doubt I can survive it if I'm really one. Yesterday's concert was crazy by over running an hour and a half. Yesterday's shopping was not supposed to be so but I came back with 8 items. What can I say? Tsk tsk... For now, happy honeymoon-ing to us. Will be back in 2 weeks time. Rome, Venice, Milan, Paris & London, here we come!

3 more days

Will someone pls pinch me for I find it unreal I'm jetting off in 3 days time?! And these 3 days will zoom past because the wedding takes up almost the entire day today, I'm flying off early in the morning to KL tomorrow and back on Monday afternoon. Sounds a little tiring though but what needs to be done has to be done. And someone isn't happy I'm ONLY working on Sunday. But you know what? I don't care. Yet I'm bitter about it. Oh well. It's so hazy and humid now. Take care everyone and have a great weekend! Laters...

I like this

It's almost 1am now and I've got the skeleton of the 5 cities' itineraries, with 3 more or less detailed. I started since yesterday, with a little of facebooking, bejeweling, blog surfing and an attempt to blog one pretty long entry in between. 2 days in each city is short but we are not gonna stress ourselves. We shall cover the main touristy places because after all, regardless of the number of days, it's never enough. And who's to complain when the planning is done by me while the other one is slacking? I'm quite happy with what I've done this weekend and I'm sure I'll be really excited next weekend. I've also put all 13 days of clothes into the luggage and to-bring items on a list. I like this. The planning, online purchases of tickets to museums and hopefully the pretty things we shall see. More to come in the coming week but seriously, who's complaining? Hope your weekend was a good one.

If he's mine

I would slap him silly for every rude word and behaviour. I would not let him watch so much TV and play so hard, totally neglecting his school work. I would not let him steal money yet not punish him. But he's not mine. And I pray really hard mine doesn't turn out to be like that.

Reviews

How much do you trust reviews? After all, people's tastes and preferences differ. And when you go for something with much anticipation because someone highly recommended it, the chances of you getting disappointed are there. Again, that's because people's expectations are different. I'm guilty of relying on reviews at times but Mr. Grumpy has taught me to see for myself instead and so even when a certain movie is give just 1 star, I/we would watch it nevertheless. I seldom dig food reviews since I'm a hmmm picky eater (I choose to believe I'm a selective eater) and certainly don't believe in long queues equal good food. Such 'good food' are often overrated and a waste of time (spent on queing) especially when you are almost fainting from hunger. Also, having to put in effort to wait means you are expecting a certain results and again, the expectation vs disappointment equation comes into the picture. This afternoon, we were at Porn's, a new Thai ...

What to wear?

To the church wedding. To the wedding dinner. To the event. To the other wedding dinner. I had it all planned, well almost, but after realising black is a taboo, I have to change my plans. I have 5 new dresses and it's more than enough for 4 occasions right? Still, it's a tough decision. Forever 21 calling me....

Today

Did MM Lee, PM Lee and family break down and cry their hearts out just like any other grieving person? Would they let go of their statuses, responsibilities and whatnot and grieve like a 'normal' husband, son, daughter, daugher in-law and grandchild? Since when parting with a dear one is easy? That's life for us...

October calling!

O.M.G. We are in October! 1 Oct is... Children's Day. Happy happy ya. No one says we can't be big kids. Aunt's birthday. Happy happy too ya. And pretty and healthy. A new colleague day. 2 Oct is... TV almost exploded day! I slept at 12ish and jumped up to a sparkle sound. I had switched off the TV but not the main switch. I got a little worried and switched off the main switch. Minutes later, my room was filled with burning smell and smoke! I wanted to sleep through it but figured that's not a good way to die. I went out and found my brother panicking because he thought it was the modem that is burning. Damn! We tried to get the smoke and stench out by opening the window wider and blasting the fan but it didn't work. I ended up a night on the sofa and needless to say, not a good sleep. Be careful of your home appliances. The TV was sold for S$4 just now. Bless the person who will be using it next...
