It's all about

the video since Monday. I was stuck at the production house for the past 2 days. I'm sick of hearing people thank their company or how honoured they are to be awarded. It's not quite over. Can't wait for the weekend to come and next Mon/Tues when we deliver the video. I wish I can fastforward my days too.
I've finally completed the project. I thought it'll be easy but I spent half a day on it. Yes, to quote someone , "based on your calibre, that should be right..." Thanks hor. Edited: I enjoyed Dim Sum Dollies and I appreciate the free rides :) Thanks.

February Means...

1. Chinese New Year. Which has ended by now. Silly me thought there's another week of it. Flash back: I played hostess to this group for the first time. A couple of new (Frank and Led) and missing (Casey & Peiwen) faces. And you can spot 2 real couples and a fake one. Went back to my favourite colour towards the last few days of CNY. HS, the chain looks familiar? Thanks once again. Matches my bought-long-time-ago-but-not-worn Mango skirt. In fact everything's new. Top's from JB, my only purchase during my recent trip. All black. New skirt from Warehouse. Another top-from-JB-and-skirt-from-Mango outfit for one last visiting and I was done with CNY. New top for the last day of CNY. Love cupids all over. 2. Valentine's Day Hope yours was good. 3. Pay cheque is coming in earlier! 4. A "new beginning".

Guys and My Girlies

Case 1: I'm not "affected affected" but I'll not care anymore. Let's do it YOUR way. Sometimes, ego is really worth just that much. And I'm worth much more than your stupid ego! Case 2: If you want to ask me out on Valentine's Day although you claimed it's nothing special, at least have the courtesy to reply even after you were rejected. Well, not replying shows you're petty and that the 'date' actually meant something to you or that you're simply rude. And when you tried again a few days later and was rejected yet again, don't tell me it's such a bummer cos you found the perfect guy for me. What's that for? Firstly, you don't know me well enough to find me 'the perfect guy'. Secondly, I felt like a mouse being lured by the cheese. Thirdly and most importantly, there is NO perfect guy. Case 3: I'm not interested to be a third party. Period. Case 4: My friend's brother is "on sale". But hey, I t...

Dream No More

Most people get lazy after the long CNY break. Aren't we all too greedy at times? Well, I think I've not gotten enough rest though. Then again, how much is enough? If we don't stop being greedy, it's probably never quite enough. I started the working week really slow but not steady and ended it fast and furiously. Which reminded me, the fun's over! Monday's the day to buck up (again). Quite a number of projects and more on the way. I've anticipated late nights again. When someone asked, "are you or is he/she busy?", I always reply, "when are we not?". I do like my job and I told my boss so. Maybe I shouldn't be too honest, what do you think? Sometimes I dread people asking me what I'm working as. Previously, I gotta explain what's "circulation" and now I have to clarify it's "account", not "accountS". Anyway, after the debut Blackjack & In-between session at the Chins', I didn't th...

That One Post

I know I've had some head-scratching posts. And I will find time to sit down and "pen" down that one post. The one that reveals what I think, feel and will do. Perhaps that's what holding me back. It's the fear of having a proper closure. But with that post, it should be it. Till then, bear with me. If you've found someone to love and who loves you in return, treasure that someone and the time spent together, be it good or bad.

Blistered Sole & Soul

The blister on the sole decided to get worse on Monday afternoon and I was limping in the office. But I know it will heal. My blistered soul? It will heal. Eventually. The good thing about crying before you sleep is that you wake up with obvious double eyelids. Make it easier to apply eyeliner. I'm such an optimist isn't it?

Rat Year

Gong Xi Fatt Cai! The Chins came to visit. Older kiddo was busy watching lion dance DVD while the young one was clapping her hands, oblivious to the camera. In fact, cheeky Chin wasn't interested. Megan loves my Pooh Bear. Look at her expression in the two pictures on the right. That's her favourite now. Not very pretty but damn cute. She's really a sweetie. *** For the first time during CNY, we gambled till 1am at the Chins' residence. Bearing in mind that the two kids and maids were sleeping and we weren't exactly soft, that was quite something. The whole session's "inside jokes": Green & Brown being the lucky colours. Kailun's "fire, water & earth" thanks to Auntie Selina. Kelvin's bak kwa song. My bro's super duper bad luck. My bro's "YES" and then realised he had to pay double. The guys' high risks, high returns logic. The Yap sisters' attempts to stop the guys. $50 for a game of In-Between. The ...

Smoke you not

I took a puff... :p It was good. No wonder some people get addicted to it. Tada... Curry puff la. Mini "curry puff". Made by popo. Almost gone before CNY. The Kongs are gluttons. New curtains. Neater table (for now). Jay Chou wannabe siblings.

Hand in Hand

If, on the average, people get married at 30 and live till 70, is it that difficult to hold that pair of hands for 40 years? Do people give up because they cannot accept imperfection or that someone better is always easy to come by?

Only Pictures

The Wedding: Aloha: Black is always sexy and size does matter (at times): Now you see me. Now you don't. Flaunt the legs. Haha...
