First to ROM. No one told me we have to take an oath... Mr. Yeo was giggling all the way. Just because I told him shortly before that, "hey, we gotta swear?!" Yes.. swear is cursing.. but it wasn't that funny la. If he should giggle like today on Saturday, I swear I will not only swear... Then to SGH. Just hope his mum will be fine. Then to HDB. Well, we will not be Duxtoners after all. Then to pick up my mum and back to SGH. And finally home sweet home. I feel it's more tiring than a normal working day...

Sorting out my clothes. Now I know why I always get 'scolded' for buying too much. Feeding myself with sugar. Now I know why I can NEVER be skinny.

Lots of food. Pasta, pizza, potato chips, cupcakes, salad & the cheena kind namely bee hoon, otah, curry vegetable, vegeterian claypot rice. And more today as it's our department belated Christmas lunch - Brotzeit at Raffles City. Less work. More play. Boss declared half day off for us this morning and 'chased' us out for lunch by 12pm! Last working day of the year is brought half a day forward. What more can I ask for? Shopping. Within 1 hour or so after lunch today, I'm a happy owner of a Springfield white shirt (on sale), a Warehouse brown bag (on sale) & a Topshop dress (membership discount). And thus I'm done for CNY shopping - a good excuse. Mr. Grumpy is sleeping now... His appetite is unbelievably good lately. Either that, he's aiming for the 65 mark on the scale. Chicken rice for lunch and Mac meal at 6pm. While driving back, he told me he will be hungry an hour later. Can't get any fatter... Anyway, have a great weekend! HS, can you send us...

was one of the worst days in a long time... Horrible PREMIERE cab driver - 1283C. Arguement. It's a different story with a stranger vs a family member. The hurt, anger and whatnot is usually doubled. And I may not face the stranger ever again (if I'm 'lucky' enough) but family? That's for life. Well, not a big issue and I always tell myself, this is just the beginning ... The good thing is it's 20th and our girls night out is finally here. The probably best thing is we are just 2 weeks away :)

I was telling people how much fitter I am now since I started climbing the steps and how I haven't fallen sick this time this year (since I always do and last year's cough was really really bad) and BAM! This morning during work, I started feeling giddy suddenly and the room spin like nobody's business. Shouldn't have thought that way. It always work. Against me that is. I blamed it on the specs. Perhaps... But second time on medical leave within 3 months does not reflect well on my appraisal I think. Not forgetting there are work to clear. I sure know when to fall sick.

Yes, exactly 21 days to go. Shopping list has been settled today. Even flowers were found. I've used up all my vouchers. Just waiting for the Girls' Night Out next Sat and a wedding the Sunday after next. 8.5 days more to clear my work. This is so exciting! "Are you more excited about the ROM or the customary wedding?" "I'm excited to settle down with you. The rest are just formality..." Awww...

It's been 8 years... Back to basic. And I've never felt luckier. Won one of the top prizes during Christmas dinner just now. A coffee machine that I was praying I wouldn't get. But it's worth $560! And it would sit quite well in our new home. If we do get one soon that is. Very tempted to sell it especially when my bank account has only a two-digit figure. But I should probably keep it to remind myself of my rare luck. Dinner was great! Loving my job.

It's gonna be a short month for us because we are taking the last week off! I've finally decided to do something to my hair. Can't afford to wait for the black to be out... sigh... halfway there but I gotta give up.

Yes, indeed. The last month of the year. The time when people perhaps slow down a little and look back at the year that is ending soon, or for some, a month of celebrations, long holidays, partying and whatnot. Whatever it is, hope your year has been good and the next, always better. December this year for me means a close friend's wedding (I'm the 'sister' again so not true about not being able to get hitched if you are one more than thrice. This is my 5th!), a family Christmas party (another reason for everyone to gather & pig out), my first Christmas dinner with a new company (speaking of which, I've spent the last 2 Christmases with 2 different companies), our 3rd book-a-hotel-room-and-have-another-loserish-clubbing-session-to-celebrate-Christmas weekend (the theme is ironically, oriental - can't wait to usher in the OX year) and hopefully, also most importantly, book the hotel for our wedding dinner! So there, this Dec is certainly better than the last ...

internet is back! 4 days without Internet is painful. Some updates: He has proposed officially. In less than a month, I'm Mrs Yeo. Just need to settle for a hotel next. Yes, after more than month, it's not settled yet. Tomorrow shall be the last... *** Was the airport chauffeur 3 days in a row. Luckily petrol prices went down.
