The next BIG commitment

after getting hitched is... a house. Babies come later :) Anyway, our queue number is quite decent I would say so continue to wish us luck! Meeting the girlies later for some exciting updates, SHOPPING & hearty feast. The last time I saw them was in early Jan and things change so fast you can hardly stop at times. Let's keep moving!

Happy Birthday, Mrs Yap to-be!

22nd Singapore International Film Festival

The Biography Channel is the Singapore Short Film Competition sponsor - http://www.filmfest.org.sg/sponsors.html With that, we were invitied to the press conference. Quite interesting. Except we know no one. Even if an A-list director walked past me, I wouldn't know. But Royston Tan was 2 seats away, Jack Neo was just in front and Liu Ling Ling was 2 rows away. That's about it. That's how much we recognise and know. Looks like this year I will finally get down to purchase my first filmfest ticket. Edited: And I thought this new top goes quite well with the event. Quite arty farty aye?

Feb is ending soon!

We have survived 3 weekends of work and got ourselves 2 days off. Wanted to 'save them for rainy days' but was asked to clear it within these 2 weeks. So rest I shall. Before the month ends, there's something to look forward to. A queue number. If it's meant to be, it will be... Bless us! Damn, that will also means credit card bill is knocking on my door soon. I sure chalked up quite a bit since work at Marina Square was really boring and I blew up almost $300 on 2 dresses, 2 tops & 2 pairs of heels. Yes, I'm into heels lately. Yes, like what?! Aren't you tall enough? And my lovely intern, who was shopping with me, asked how many dresses I have. The last I counted was around 20. That was last year, right before I watched 27 Dresses. But also before I gave & kept some away. Speaking of which (shopping of course), I really miss Bangkok. Anyone?

Maybe

It's not something you did. It's something you did not. It's not something you said. It's something you did not. And then I realise this is YOU. You were like this... You are like this. And maybe, you will always be like this. I have to accept you as it is? I have to accept you as it is. Because I chose you...

Tonight I shall

update :) 1st day of CNY we'll always have the Chins visiting. This year, they decided to take my Winnie home. 2nd day of CNY. 31 Jan @ the Chins Locked outside my place at 2ish in the morning. 1 Feb, after our lobster dinner. Charming Dayan. 7 Feb, off to Kota Kinabalu. Somewhere high up the mountains... after nth hours on the coach. It's colder than Gentings and that's all I brought - a thin sweater. 8 Feb - finally the event... while the girls were having fun. We travelled 2hrs plus in the air, more than 10hrs on land, just to catch the Minister for a few minutes... I like this shot. 14 Feb, my Valentine. Bumped into Spencer at Vivo. I gotta make a point to meet him before he complains each time he bumps into me. Ha, 10 years of friendship yet we have never sat down for a proper catch up. So there, I've been busy. And sick again...

Misses & Gains

I miss how you would take some time to write about me, about us. I miss receiving your self-made cards, never mind that there's only 1 design. I miss the long chats at that bench. Well, guess we have passed that stage. As much as everything's sweet & fine now, I do miss certain bits of the past, certain part of the old you...

This CNY...

1. I collected more ang pows. A nice 'finale'. 2. The most common dish at the dining table is prawns with tomato sauce. 3. I hardly touch the goodies. A must have for me in the past were pineapple tarts and this kueh which I don't know what it's called. 4. I didn't have any rest. 5. I only bought 2 dresses. 6. I won a little at the Chin's. Speaking of which, the 'set-up' of our gambling den is more grand this year. 7. I'm spending the last weekend at Kota Kinabalu. 8. It's the busiest (at work) so far.
