Tired

It's only January. I had three bad nights of sleep in a row! because I dreamt about work. I have work trips planned till April (although this is somewhat a happy problem because I'm going Bangkok next month and Hong Kong in April). Three events in Feb. Two events in Mar. One event in Apr. One big campaign in May. Possibly bigger campaigns and more events from June to August. And wow, it seems I'm almost done with 2013. But the truth is, I'm still at January. How long can I last? :(

My 2012

Celebrated our 2nd (customary) & 3rd (solemnisation) anniversary. Went to Cambodia. Got a promotion. Screwed up at my first big event. Moved in to our own nest. My dad had a heart attack and then a surgery. Went to Spain for my first international conference. Bought two more bags. Celebrated the last of my twenties at MBS and had possibly the most expensive dinner in my life. Celebrated the last of his thirties opposite MBS. Found out on FB an ex intern passed away at 22. My mil had a stroke. His friend passed away during a work trip at 39. Had an aggressive publicity tour for a new series - Phil to SIN to KL to HK to TWN. Was quite sick during that tour and went to the doctor three times in a month. Handled a mega campaign and was glad everything paid off. The world survived doomsday. What would 2013 bring us? I hope for peace, joy, great health and success.

And so it did. Right after Hong Kong. It turned chilly in Hong Kong and I was totally unprepared. Luckily shopping is easy in Hong Kong so I kinda changed my wardrobe a little. We took Eva Air from HK to Taipei and got "upgraded" to the premium economy class. The leg room was so great we thought Eva's economy class is worth considering for future personal trips. Until my boss went to the toilet and realised the difference that is. Checked in to Landis Hotel and fell in love with the bed and pillows. One of the best I would say. And then it was work. Pampered ourselves with steamboat dinner after the event with our PR agency. Presentation of food was fanta...
