#KongSiblingsTravel to Seoul

Had a one week break after MasterChef Asia madness and couldn't wait to get out of Singapore. Was thinking of Bangkok but the bomb just happened then. We had a close bomb scare in January so I didn't think we need another one. Next option was Seoul and I did a quick search on Expedia which I've never done so. And to our surprise, found a really good deal - SQ flights & 7-night stay at Holiday Inn at only S$800+ each! And seoul (pardon the pun) we went. Arrived late on a Saturday and were rushing like mad for the last train. We missed it so we were at Hongdae trying to get or rather fight for a cab with many other locals. Ended up with one, possibly double the fare but it was almost midnight and I just wanted to check in, shower and sleep. S$23 dollars and missing a few turns later, we checked in to Holiday Inn Express that is right beside Eujiro station and a 8-minute walk to Myeondong. #ootd for (officially) day 1 Missed the porridge there and had wanted to...

How do you know?

I should have known better. The very first time we met, you talked a lot.  You were too comfortable with us.  You seemed nice. But not naturally I thought. I didn't think too much because one shouldn't judge a book by its cover, yes? I wasn't very stable emotionally that day too so I thought it was just me. The second time we met, you were being all chummy and flattery.  And I told you to stop. We don't like it, need it and please, just work.  And then you officially joined. It wasn't easy I guess. Even though you only had ONE thing to do. Two months passed. You quit. We took over your mess. Nothing much was done. We wondered what have you been busy with. We discovered more about you. That you are a fucked up idiot, ass kisser who has no integrity, professionalism and who likes to act as if the whole world is your BFF. I've never met someone like you in the years I've been working.  I can't even use one word...

Cooling Summer in Boston & London

Work has been so crazy I can't even. I should be excited when I knew I was going to attend my second International Conference in Boston but I just wasn't. For a few reasons. The 23-hour flight. Work. I was on one of the panels. #NoPressure my foot. So we started our 20+ hour long flight on a Saturday night. Didn't sleep well because the guy in front had his seat reclined to the max and the big lady beside had her hand on my seat, next to my thigh in the middle of the night. FML really. Arrived in London looking and feeling like crap. Chanced upon Chanel and that perked us up! Haha. Got ourselves a Boy each and no regrets. Even though we spent thousands before we even started the trip. Second leg was much better and I managed to get some sleep. Checked in to the hotel and was hoping we wouldn't bump into anyone. Tough luck. Bumped into our boss and warned her before the hugs... Oh well. Met up with the Okauchis & it was non-stop yakking before we headed for ...
