As if we were 16 again, the 3 of us gathered yesterday night to spring a surprise for the aunt who's celebrating her 50s (without looking like one of course). Within 30mins... Balloon, checked. Cake, checked. Chips, checked. Time, checked. We were at her door quarter to 11pm and the house was pitch dark. Was she sleeping? Was she even home? One of us called. It just kept ringing until what seemed like forever later, she finally picked up the phone in her dreamy voice. Not so much a surprise after all, ha. We were let in finally and then reality sank in for her. Chatted the next hour or so until the clock struck 12. Happy birthday! And many more blessed & happy ones to come. XOXO #FamilyRocks
