Hello again

I wanted to update (anyone who's interested) on my not-that-interesting life but I've been lazy and well, busy - the most convenient excuse.

Singapore Flyer Experience on 20th Mar

I like the 30mins ride and I love the pics.

After which, off we went to a house-warming at somewhere near Changi.
And I had the first mahjong session that almost gave me a heart attack.
The bet was $1, $2 and I lost a 6-tai, $64!
Final loss of $58.
I'm never gonna play with these people again.

30th Mar

Lately or rather since I'm in my new job (I'm moving on to my 6th month), I've been making good use of my weekends. Used to reserve Sundays for slacking and eating like nobody's business at home but last Sunday was spent with the girlies. What else but fun as always? The one person who didn't have much fun must be Mr. Grumpy because not only did he had to bear with the noise pollution caused by the foursome while undertaking the amak role, he also missed the one and only goal of the match that night. Women... you must be thinking. Yes, we spell 'trouble' sometimes.

Took the opportunity to advertise for www.therightavenue.blogspot.com

Had an early celebration for Kong junior.

Bengawan's cake is not tasty at all.

Happy Birthday White Chick!

My gift to him. With an ang pow too - damn auntie.

Threw a farewell dinner for my colleague and I took another opportunity to advertise for, what else but www.therightavenue.blogspot.com.

I think that's it for now because I'm running late.
Going to collect HS's DP items. See, I may not send pics to you promptly but with me going down to town on a Sunday just for you, what more can you ask for? And no, I'm taking bus there.

Life

What's the real meaning of life? People always say that when one's life is lived to the fullest, there shouldn't be much regrets. Do you agree? I don't quite agree. Perhaps I'm greedy or somewhat naive. I believe you need to have lived supposedly long enough to have led a fulfilling life. To be able to experience the things you want to do, to have misses and gains, to be sad and happy, to have dealt with pain and losses, to have struggled and to have done so much more. And these would require at least 60 to 70 years, no? Of course, there are always those who have lived beyond those ages and still behave like a child or have led a meaningless life. And of course, there are those fortunate ones who would have achieved more than others at an earlier age. Indeed, age is a number and shouldn't determine one's life. So really, how do you define life? How do you deal with the losses? And I'm talking about losing your loved ones, losing faith, hope, love....

Never Thought Of

I never thought I'd be sitting there saying those things. How does it feel to be the other woman or man? I was shocked. Disappointed. Angry. I guess the truth is always more difficult to accept when you least expected it. Why & how did it turn out this way? I've watched so much TV yet didn't realise some episodes are for real. I don't have to watch the last episode to know what's the ending like. Good luck. What will you do if you realise you're pregnant after you end a relationship/marriage? Will you a) be a single mum b) try to work things out with your ex bf/husband for the sake of the baby c) abort the baby and keep mum about the matter I'll most likely go for (c). There's no right or wrong option isn't it?

Priceless

One of the best times are those spent with the two little cuties. They really made my day and melt my heart so often than not. Watching you two grow up is really a joy although it must be painful at times for those who literally brought you up, ha. We may selfishly wish the kids never grow up and stay at this 'bite-size' but we do want them to be well, don't we? Thank you both for brightening up my days, cheering me up unknowingly when I'm down and making me happier when I'm already having a blast.
