I'm sure I'll be back but I'm happy I'm ending my 'alone trip' soon :)
Home is still the best, no?
Home is still the best, no?
The thing I fear about this trip is not that I'm travelling alone but that I would stuff myself silly.
All the lunch & dinner appointments... Although I do eat 3 full meals back home, it's different when it's a business meal. For example, I can't be eating loads at lunch and decide to go for junks (or something light) during dinner because I'm meeting different people.
Fortunately, each meal has been manageable.
Sure there were leftovers, especially when it's all ladies but I didn't feel too stuffed.
Or maybe, my appetite has grown.
Anyway, I didn't go to the usual Delicious (it's like a TCC alike joint - maybe better - and seems very popular here) this trip and I'm glad I get to try different restaurants.
There's the Purple Cane Tea Restaurant at The Gardens.
I'm not a tea person but it's a good thing you can't taste the tea in the food.
There's Chilis at Mid Valley. Just western food so nothing special to me.
And then because my appointment was cancelled after lunch and I didn't want to roam around in the mall alone, I came back to hotel at about 4pm to check emails and watch repeats of Accidentally On Purpose, Glee & Desperate Housewives on Star World.
Didn't want to go anywhere so I had food in the room and boy was I disappointed.
I could have gone out for dinner but the sms came at 5am instead! Don't know what went wrong with the connection but the sms did wake me up.
So, that's my experience with the food here and now I shall go down for breakfast.
I hope I've not gained another kg or more!
Laters....
