Seems like yesterday & other random stuff

that SX first broke the news to us and tadah, tomorrow is the day.

Mine doesn't seem too long ago either and before we both know it, we'll be over with her wedding, JH's ROM and my wedding. A busy year of weddings & love... Am glad we are there for one another to witness everything, including the worst.

Anyway, was surprised I could spend 1hr to shop at Plaza Singapura. I spent $50 only and got myself 3 items (excluding food) :)

Dinner was freaking ex though. Never patronise TCC except their desserts & perhaps drinks. Unless it's free of course!

I've finished the latest season of Desperate Housewives & America's Next Top Model so nothing to watch for now. When will the next season be out?

Although I'm never an AI fan, am glad the gay didn't win. Not against gays or what but he just looks too creepy to be an idol. Since we're on this, why is Singapore Idol back?? Like when will we learn?

Am watching Survivor don't-know-which-season now. It's been a while and it has been aired later and later as the years go by.

Just realised I don't blog often nowadays so I shall try to. It's good to pen down memories especially for a forgetful person like me. More after tomorrow.

Solemnisation & baby shower. It's a year of weddings & newborns. Also means I'm at that typical age where people around me are getting hitched and popping babies.

I have 2 ulcers on my tongue and I'm talking as though I'm short-tongued. :P

What's the real meaning of life? People always say that when one's life is lived to the fullest, there shouldn't be much regrets. Do you agree? I don't quite agree. Perhaps I'm greedy or somewhat naive. I believe you need to have lived supposedly long enough to have led a fulfilling life. To be able to experience the things you want to do, to have misses and gains, to be sad and happy, to have dealt with pain and losses, to have struggled and to have done so much more. And these would require at least 60 to 70 years, no? Of course, there are always those who have lived beyond those ages and still behave like a child or have led a meaningless life. And of course, there are those fortunate ones who would have achieved more than others at an earlier age. Indeed, age is a number and shouldn't determine one's life. So really, how do you define life? How do you deal with the losses? And I'm talking about losing your loved ones, losing faith, hope, love....

Never Thought Of

I never thought I'd be sitting there saying those things. How does it feel to be the other woman or man? I was shocked. Disappointed. Angry. I guess the truth is always more difficult to accept when you least expected it. Why & how did it turn out this way? I've watched so much TV yet didn't realise some episodes are for real. I don't have to watch the last episode to know what's the ending like. Good luck. What will you do if you realise you're pregnant after you end a relationship/marriage? Will you a) be a single mum b) try to work things out with your ex bf/husband for the sake of the baby c) abort the baby and keep mum about the matter I'll most likely go for (c). There's no right or wrong option isn't it?

Priceless

One of the best times are those spent with the two little cuties. They really made my day and melt my heart so often than not. Watching you two grow up is really a joy although it must be painful at times for those who literally brought you up, ha. We may selfishly wish the kids never grow up and stay at this 'bite-size' but we do want them to be well, don't we? Thank you both for brightening up my days, cheering me up unknowingly when I'm down and making me happier when I'm already having a blast.
