Yes, it's been a long long time since I'm this broke.
But it's all worth it for the love of the four new babies.
Each time I smell the leather, I get happy all over again.
And I'm just two weeks to pay cheque so no sweat I guess?
Yes, I've been sick for more than a week and still counting.
This virus is more stubborn than me.
The worse thing is I can only take the medicine on weekend because it made me sleep like a baby. I woke up at 12pm yesterday and 11am today and I had weird dreams in between.
But, these did not stop me from going out.
Because we had the R8 Spyder this weekend!
Both days we went to town, vrooming down Orchard Road (yesterday top down - the car, not us) pretending the car's ours, ha.
I like this year's Christmas lightings. Do you?
Yesterday's aim was to get a new phone.
The HTC died on me when I'm very broke to afford a new one.
So I got myself a BB, topping up another $100 because contract has another 10 months to go.
But guess what? Just now Mr. Grumpy tested the phone and said it's still working.
It's just that the battery was flat.
Oh well, what can I say?
I have dumb moments like this from time to time.
But I was very sure the phone's was a little cranky before it died on me lei.
It was on Thursday, after our company's Christmas party. I had 3 incoming calls, 2 outgoing, none of which we could hear each other.
The next morning, the phone was off and I overslept because the alarm didn't go off and when I tried to start it, it just wouldn't work.
Anyway, I've bought the phone so does it matter if it's working or not?
Maybe I'll sell it to get some cash to cover for the BB.
This afternoon, we went back to town to watch Rapunzel, thanks to HS' movie vouchers.
It's expiring soon and yes, I waited for almost a year!
Then to get the presents...
I finally got the 'wedding present' from my brother - a MJ watch.
Other than dinner, we paid for nothing.
I bought everything with vouchers! They are so handy when one's broke.
So yes, I'll be really broke till end of the year and if you think your Christmas present is cheap this year, that's because, well, isn't it obvious?
